After setting up one IT park in the well developed Sitapura industrial Area, merely 6 km. from the Airport, two advanced computing Institute and a Software building, Jaipur is soon to boast of a Cyber City.

RIICO invites offers from Private investors to develop and market Cyber City in 25 acres which will have all amenities of a Software Industry.

Unique Features :

- Prime location. Quality infrastructure already existing in the vicinity

- Also in the vicinity is an Earth station for high speed data communication established in 1998.

- Land around 25 acres available at prime locating in IT Park

- RIICO may consider a nominal equity in the project. It will also assist in securing term loan from all India Financial Institutions.

- Only 50% area to be used for IT production facility and rest could be used for commercial and residential complexes

- FAR 1.5 for industrial and 2.0 for residential/ commercial purpose, ground coverage 35%.

- Exemption on stamp duty, as per state IT Policy - 2000 on property transaction and land and building tax in designated IT Parks.


Facilities envisaged in the project

- 2,00,000 sq.ft. built-up space within 24 months for IT units and rest as per wishes of the developer.

- Centrally air conditioned building for IT units.

- Continuous power supply to occupants.

- Seamless voice and data communication

- Structured cabling in the building

- Residential area, commercial complex, cafeteria, Conference area, Recreational and other common facilities as per requirement.

- Allotment of built up area for residential and commercial use to any one without restriction.

Selection Criteria :

In the first phase Prequalification bids are invited. The shortlisting of investors will be based on experience of developing Software industrial parks or real estate, capability of attracting IT industries, financial soundness and marketing strength. The allotment of land will be based on highest bid among the qualified bidders. The reserve price of the land is Rs.500 per sq. mtr. Site visits can be arranged.

Following information may be provided with the Prequalification bid application:

- Balance Sheet of the existing operations of the companies for the last 3 years reflecting financial soundness.

- Details of the similar work undertaken in the past

- Details of the Group/ Company`s activities

- Brief plans of the proposed proposal alongwith indicative layouts and RIICO equity envisaged if any, for the project.

RIICO invites promoters in private sector

RIICO, a Rajasthan State Government undertaking committed to promote industrial growth in the State invites Prequalification bids from promoters to develop the SEZs at suitable locations subject to approval by Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.

A scheme for Special Economic Zones (SEZs) has been introduced in the Export and Import policy with a view to provide an Internationally competitive and hassle free environment for export production. To create stimulating infrastructure facilities of International standards in export production it has been decided to permit up of SEZs in private sector.

Locational Alternatives

- Jodhpur : Traditionally known for handicraft exports. About 700 acres land readily available at Boranada (15 kms from Jodhpur) and additional land can be acquired.

- Jaipur : Known for exports in Gems/ Jewellery, Garments. Suitable land can be acquired close to existing Export Promotion Industrial Park.

- Bhiwadi : About 75 kms from Delhi, 800 acres land readily available at Chopanki Industrial Area and additional land can be acquired.

Facilities available to the promoter

- Readily available land can be provided by RIICO, Assistance shall be provided in acquisition of additional land.

- Full freedom in allocation of developed plots to approved SEZ units on purely commercial basis.

- Full authority to provide services like water, electricity, security, restaurant, recreation etc. on commercial lines.

- Facility to develop Township with residential areas, markets, play grounds, clubs, recreation centers etc.

- RIICO will act as facilitator and may also suitably participate in equity.

Information necessary for Prequalification of bid application

Companies having annual turnover of not less than Rs.500 million in last 3 years and experience in having developed at least one infrastructure Project of not less than Rs. 500 million may send their proposal for setting up of a SEZ containing.

a. Analysis for the preferred location

b. Tentative project for implementation with proposed funding.

c. Time schedule for implementation

d. Balance sheet of the Company for last three years and details of at least one infrastructure project exceeding Rs.500 million developed in past.

Selection criteria :
